Where Is the Republican Party?
It’s both perplexing and terrifying that the Republican Party has shifted so far to the ultra-right in just the last five years.
Think of how unlikely January 6th would have been in Nixon’s day. No Kyle Rittenhouse, Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Donald Trump, anti-vaxxers, science deniers, white nationalists driving cars into peaceful protesters, death threats to school board members and election officials.
Nixon resigned because he had committed a crime and no one was above the law.
