With today’s digital advancement and increased use of electronics, it is obvious that E-waste holds a significant proportion of waste that is generated altogether. We need to be extremely skeptical anytime we hear someone say, “Here’s a man-made change I’m going to make into a natural habitat that is actually going to help the native species thrive.” This is normally equivalent to saying, “I haven’t even begun to think about the possible unintended consequence of what I’m doing, but I think you’re too stupid to challenge my totally outrageous statement.” (more…)

Imagine you’re hiking near a wilderness creek or you’re out on a canoe trip, and you’re desperate to charge your cell phone. You could have brought along a $20 solar panel, or this, a $159 water turbine that weighs more, that you can somehow maneuver into the flowing water.
Insofar as there are some people who would willingly choose the later, I suppose this product isn’t actually fraudulent, but it’s for people with extremely limited intelligence.
We often think about the ways that our lifestyle choices can either positively or negatively affect the planet, but have you considered how your burial arrangements might make an impact?
