IMO, we need a tax on extreme wealth, rather than income.
We’re taking about people with hundreds of billions of dollars in net worth. Taking, say, 5% per annum of that wealth and using it to feed and clothe the 1.5 billion people on this planet who can’t get a glass of clean water to drink seems like a very good idea.
My only thought on the subject is that it would be nice if Trump could do just one thing for the good of the American people.
I want to draw the distinction between:
a) something that enriches Trump, his billionaire donors, and the hateful morons who believe that immigrants who have lived here for decades are a threat to our society
and
b) something that makes the common American healthier, better educated, and financially more secure.
The vast majority of Americans disapprove of what ICE is doing in our Democrat-run cities, not because we’re afraid of them, but because honest people do not condone actions that violate the U.S. Constitution.
