Well, probably not, but the point is a good one.

Here’s something from my old client BASF on the subject, focusing on
lightweight foam that provides strength and stability, composite plastics that reduce weight and optimize strength, and resin-reinforced natural fibers that offer sustainability and weight savings.

It would be comforting to know that there are elements in our society that are likely to improve our lives, to make them safer, more productive, and more sustainable.

Apparently, the author of the meme here is having trouble thinking of any.

I hate to complain, or to invalidate this judge, but I think everyone who’s read the First Amendment understands this.

Its first word is “Congress.”

I hope you’ll check out this short video, and then ask yourself where we’re going as a society.

Of course, there will always be good, helpful people, regardless of how greed and selfishness rack our culture.  But it’s gratifying to know that entire ecosystems are built around the concept of coming to others’ aid.

I wrote a post recently on Bill Gates, and how the QAnon people believe that his mission is to enslave the world’s population by forcing everyone to become microchipped.

This made me think of George Soros, another QAnon boogieman, perhaps even more notorious than Gates himself.  In turn, that made me realize how little I know about him, which sent me on a short project to learn a bit.  As it turns out, his main goal actually is a vast restructuring of human civilization.

But in what direction?  This gets complicated.  Fast. (more…)

At left is a good example of what happens when honest people want something good for their society.  The Dutch want to minimize teen pregnancies and unwanted children; please check out how they’ve addressed the issue.

This may sound odd to us Americans, but they don’t want to create misery for its own sake, nor do they have media-driven contention between two diametrically opposed belief systems just so that rich people can get even richer.

Any reasonable person can see that their undertaking towards teen sex makes 1000 times more sense than the total bulls*** we have here.

Unless you’re a QAnoner and you believe Bill Gates is trying to enslave the world’s population, you regard him as one of Earth’s most effective philanthropists, primarily for his work in infectious diseases.

His current focus is helping our civilization avoid the next pandemic, and he has an idea on the subject, expressed in the video below, that has real merit, IMO.

One would like to believe this is true.  How many American women support an across-the-board ban on abortion?  No abortion in cases of rape, incest, or the near-certain death of the baby and/or mother?  What percentage can this possibly be? Five?

I get that the Supreme Court does not operate on the basis of public opinion.  But do you know what does?  Elections. (more…)

This seems correct, but in the context of current-day U.S. politics, what exactly does it mean?  Well, either the right or the left is about to prevail, but which one? (more…)

From this:

Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday announced a new office at the Justice Department that will focus exclusively on environmental justice.

The office, which will prioritize low-income communities that have been hit hard by pollution and contamination, was launched in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency. (more…)
