As one could expect, the people spreading malicious lies on Facebook are having a hell of a time with the fact that FB will not host their BS.Someone wrote: FB has just censored 3 of my posts before the ink was even dry; this is how communists operate………………..
You may be aware that Trump is suing FB, Twitter, and Google on the basis that they are violating his First Amendment right to free speech. The reason that this case will be immediately dismissed is that these are private entities with terms of use that enable them to remove content that contains misinformation/disinformation. They’re perfectly within their rights to do so.
As we look down the barrel of the first, and almost definitely not the last, of the variants of COVID-19, we are dealing with the very significant percentage of the U.S. population that refuses to get vaccinated, a phenomenon that could make dealing with the pandemic impossible.
