Top 100 Financial Planners Are Critically Important to the 2GreenEnergy Mission

I spent most of the day dialing for dollars, as they say, trying to make connections with the top 100 financial planners in the country.  I knew this was going to be tough; it’s SO much easier to work referrals than it is to establish relations with people you don’t know.  But these people are extremely important to the 2GreenEnergy mission, as they work for many thousands of high- and ultra-high net-worth individuals.

 Here’s a typical response:

Thanks for your email.  We appreciate the opportunity, however, we currently don’t allocate client capital into direct private equity investments.  The vast majority of our clients are retired and are withdrawing money from their portfolios, so holding more illiquid investments doesn’t really fit the needs of our average client.  Consequently, I don’t believe we would be a good fit for your investment opportunities.  I wish you the best in your fund raising efforts. – Bob

 And my response in return:

OK, Bob.  Thanks for considering this.

And who knows?  Maybe someone will walk into your office tomorrow, and ask, “Bob, where can I make an investment that has the potential to make a huge difference to the sustainability of the planet?”  Could happen.  🙂

    Interesting Craig,
I wanted to tell you I have found that every post this week, if I reed the E-mail and want to read more if I clock on the link at the end of the abbreviated text on the first to read the rest of the article it goes to “Cannot find file” page and does not seem to lead past that dead end. but if I instead click on the title of the article at the top of the first page then it goes to the entire article and the “Leave a Reply” where I am leaving this comment. Perhaps you can “FiX” that “Continue reading the article” link ???

“Read More Of This Post” is the exact quote of the faulty LINk. I miss quoted the text before.

What is a ” illiquid investments ?” In accounting class I learned of Liquid Investments as being more negotiable and easier to sell. (After the coma in the second sentence of the “Typical response”)

Craig, have you looked into “EB-5” program for foreign investment? I have half heartedly tried to break into the easy money… Please look at my web domain
http://www.E-V-T-I-inc.com It gives both an overview of the advantages of “EB-5” for “Foreign”Investors at the begining, then breaks into why my business would be good for their family and mine, as well as how I would be better than a real-estate investment as most of the “EB-5” investors are offered by others. I also received an e-mail from an attorney who sets up these “EB-5” contracts.
