2GreenEnergy Interns Researching and Writing on Renewables, Energy Efficiency, Etc.

I really enjoy working with our interns here at 2GreenEnergy, in my capacity as, I suppose we could say “coach.”  My role is to direct them into researching areas that I think will be a good fit for the individual’s interests and abilities, point them in directions that I believe will be fruitful, and then finally, help then edit their writing.

Some of these folks aren’t American-born, and therefore, speak and write English as a second (or fifth or sixth) language, which makes this something of a challenge, but we always seem to make it work.  In particular, we all learn a great deal, and improve our skills, while creating content that helps the world wrap its collective wits around some of the thorniest challenges it faces vis-à-vis energy and the environment.

Here’s a piece that French-born Olivier Goavec (pictured above with his vélo) just published on the effort to bring clean electrical energy into Europe from a huge array of CSP (concentrated solar power, aka solar thermal) that could be installed in the Sahara Desert.  I hope you enjoy.
