Taking a Stand Against Fossil FuelsIn my post Energy Policy: Taking a Stand Against Fossil Fuels, I wrote:

As a side note, I believe that carbon sequestration is a non-starter; we have a far greater opportunity to move to a low-carbon economy than we do perpetuating our dependence on fossil fuels and capturing the carbon.

Sev Clarke, a brilliant reader from Australia notes:  I agree that CCS, as it is commonly understood, is a non-starter. However you might care to consider the feasibility and effectiveness of the following alternative CCS method described here, with supporting documentation here.

Documents in the latter url also describe a breakthrough method for cooling the globe, generating renewable energy, stabilizing glaciers & the polar vortex, and reducing/harvesting fugitive polar methane emissions.
