Things Are Going REALLY Well

Here are 11 compelling reasons to believe that this is the best point in the history of humankind.   There are two points to be made here:

One of our presidential candidates would like you to think that you live in a dangerous world that is decaying into lawlessness, that our nation is under siege by “other” groups, and that he is the only hope to turn all this around.  We need to understand this for what it is: hateful nonsense.

Our environment, by contrast, actually is under siege.  Though the article is heartening, it serves to show what a tragedy it will be if we let our civilization fall apart from the ceaseless assault on our ecosystems.
