State and Local Politicians Beware: Trump’s On His Way

37921022_10157668937120968_5278750115157245952_nI’m not a big fan of the meme here.  Yes, it shows hypocrisy, but Trump’s overall issues with truth and honesty make this look inconsequential in comparison.

More to the point: How is Trump’s campaigning for a local candidate going to help?  Does the constituency like huge budget deficits, corruption, gun violence, sexual abuse, white supremacy, climate change, environmental destruction, tax cuts for billionaires, child abuse, and random trade wars that destroy various sections of the economy?

If I were running for office, I’d tell the president to stay as far away from me as he could possibly get.

    Craig,

Hmmm, .. actually the economy’s going great ! The President’s new trade policies are successful, unemployment, especially among blue collar and black workers, has plummeted, business confidence has increased, etc.

Oh, well, nevermind,…but I am genuinely curious about something. I realize this may be a very difficult question for you to answer, but I’d really like your opinion.

President trump has always clashed with Charles and David Koch, to the point where the Koch’s have offered (and advanced) funding to Democrat candidates !

When announcing his candidacy for Presidency before the Primary contest , Trump declared.

“I never sought David or Charles koch’s support, because I don’t need their money or bad ideas.”

Recently after a clash with Koch GOP supporters The President stated,

“Their network is highly overrated, I have beaten them at every turn,” he continued. “They want to protect their companies outside the US from being taxed, I’m for America First & the American Worker, I’m a puppet for no one.

    My questions are these:

Would you still support Democrat Candidates who accepted Koch funding ?

    Should Democrats accept Koch funding?

Haven’t you a little grudging admiration for a GOP President who deliberately takes highly public issue with such powerful individuals ?

(In fact, the trump campaign received very little traditional heavyweight corporate or wealthy donor funding. Most corporate and “billionaire’ funding went to Hillary Clinton who raised roughly 10 times the funding from that sector!)
