Here’s Why Trump Needs To (Physically) Survive

maxresdefault (5)Most of us have encountered those who hope Trump somehow dies.  I sure have; I know tons of them.  Here’s a discussion, at the bottom of which I present my thoughts on why this isn’t a rational wish.

Rafael O. Quezada Clown president pouts, disgraced in corruption and shamed by midterm losses; on $90M Euro-trip, fails to honor our fallen, insults CA fire victims and kisses the hand of our enemy.
Linni Tolmachoff (He’s an) Imbecile!
Rafael O. Quezada So true. A part of his brain misfires constantly and his chest is devoid of any heart.
Craig Shields Linni: He’s not an imbecile; he’s very good at what he does.
Rafael O. Quezada Craig Shields, you mean he’s very good at being evil and getting away with it for a lifetime. I truly wish he walks into a large propeller.
Craig Shields Rafael O. Quezada Correct. But I don’t want him dead; I want him removed.
Rafael O. Quezada In my view, the world would be better off with him, shall we say, not alive.
Craig Shields Here’s my view: For this country to get back on track towards decency, it needs to see the error of its ways.  This isn’t going to be easy; in fact, it may not be possible at all.  But if Trump somehow dies before this takes place, a full 40% of American voters will think that bigotry, hatred, and indifference to human suffering are actually “making America great again.”
Now, what if, say, Mueller presents absolute proof of high crimes and misdemeanors, and Trump is removed?  Are we “all good” again?  Of course not; in fact, you’ll have some level of rioting in the streets on the part of the fanatical alt-right, albeit immediately quelled by law enforcement.  Moreover, you’ll have Pence, who, arguably, is, ideologically even worse than Trump himself.  But at least you will have started a process that could conceivably move the U.S. into a position of a world leader in strength and compassion.

    Craig,

“the U.S. into a position of a world leader in strength and compassion” !

    That will never occur.

It certainly will never occur as long as you keep posting vicious tirades of abuse against the President and at least half your fellow Americans.

Keeping posting negative and violent images designed to sensationalize division and disharmony, makes you part of the problem, not the solution.

The more vehement your attacks, the more solidly the President’s supporters unify behind him. The mid-term election proved one thing, voters respond to relevant policy proposals, where the democrats toned down the anti-Trump rhetoric and concentrated on issues affecting people lives, they made substantial gains.

If you are truly sincere in wanting to restore a more civilized debate and better government, it might be a good idea to get your own house in order first.

You can’t make things better, until you realize you are part of the problem!
