Consumerism Isn’t For Everyone

Henry David Thoreau said, “If a man loses pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured, or far away.”

Right on.

    Craig,

There’s nothing wrong with pursuing a quirky, or alternate lifestyle, but why must you be so discriminating, and contemptuous of those who enjoy watching Monday night football on 75″ flat screen TV, while sharing a beer with his friends ?

Sadly, you seem to have developed a real dislike of all those members of the working class or those you think don’t measure to to your cultural standards.
