United States and Climate Change: Wanton Criminality

fli-food-production-climate-changeAs you review this video, realize that the United States is withdrawing from the Paris Accord, and that it’s led by a climate change denier; this is shameful.  That it’s participating in the Conference of Parties meetings and promoting the use of fossil fuels, in the very place at which the other countries are desperately trying to mitigate a climate change catastrophe is even worse.   That it’s trying to sabotage the agreement, to ensure that this effort fails, is criminal.

As a friend of mine says, the United States has always been involved in cruelty and brutality.  The only difference now is we do it so casually.

    Craig,

Yeah, yeah, but none of these disasters have actually occurred have they ? Meantime, what has happened is none of the nations who signed the agreement have made significant reductions with the possible exceptions of the UK and USA ! What they have done is indulged in an process of endless talk-fests, but on a reduced scale since the US taxpayer is no longer picking up the bills.

Paris is burning, not because of any climate change but because the French people are violently rejecting oppressive “green” taxation measures.

Germany is finally exploring clean coal technology as the government counts the cost of the failure of Energiewende.

The rest of Europe are counting the cost of increasing dependence of shipments of Natural gas from Russia and former USSR states.

Meanwhile, The US has become a net energy exporter for the first time in 70 years.
