Interconnectedness: MLK Put It Well

50271443_10156454989817572_5566802851461595136_nOver the past couple of decades, there have been quite a few efforts in print and cinema to present a scientific basis for the interconnectedness of all life.  What the Bleep Do We Know (see below) and I Am jump immediately to mind. If we still have a civilization here in 100 years, I believe very strongly that the evidence for this will be incontrovertible.

In the meanwhile, we’ll have to content ourselves with the knowledge that this subject, a blend of neurology, chemistry, psychology, cosmology and quantum physics is in its infancy, and simply accept the following: good people take actions based on the belief that we have a moral responsibility to take care of one another, and bad people are indifferent (or worse) to others’ welfare.

If you want to take an interesting ride, I hope you’ll check out the film below; it takes the viewer down a considerable rabbit hole–a metaphor you’ll understand if you watch the movie.
