One comment on “Parody Inversion

    Craig,

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, claimed he was indulging in “parody” when he read from a report that was purportedly a transcript of the conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky.

Had the he been appearing as a comedian or on a media outlet like the Onion etc, that may be acceptable.

But of course he wasn’t. He read to the “report’ to a televised hearing of Congress with millions of viewers.

True, he did mumble at the beginning that no ‘verbatim’ report yet existed, but it was plain he intended to convey to viewers an accurate account of the conversation.

By not making clear which words he was taking directly from Trump’s comments and which were his own additions, Schiff’s deceptively lied to viewers and the media, most of whom continue to rely on Shiff’s inventions rather than the truth.

When asked her opinion of Shiff’s deceptive conduct, fellow Democrat Representative Maxine Waters stated, “So what? It doesn’t matter if it isn’t true, any means to get Trump out of office and in jail, preferably for life in solitary confinement, is OK by me!”

Now remember this is the same Democrat politician who also urged radicals:

” If you see any trump supporters in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. You tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to target the children of trump supporter until they’re to scared to live in this country”.

Maxine Waters also commented the attempted murder by a gunman of Republican Congressmen attending a ball game, as ” justifiable collateral damage” in the “war to rid America of Trump”.

    And yet, you remain silent!

Silence, in cases such as these, is a form of complicity. Where is you voice when a fellow Democrat crosses the line into dangerous rhetoric?
