After Improving for Years, U.S. Air Pollution Is Now Worsening

How completely unexpected. No one could have guessed that gutting the EPA and rolling back air pollution standards could possibly have worsened the quality of the air we breathe and caused more people to die.

This is equivalent thinking to giving toddlers loaded pistols and expecting gun violence to decline.

    Craig,

Have you actually read the report,or just the endlessly repeated precis?

The report, written by two economists, is full of equivocations, ambiguities, assertions, predictions disguised as facts, and suppositions based on assumptions.

In the entire study it’s almost impossible to find any hard data able to be objectively verified.

The report cites sources but draws absurd conclusions and attributes these back to the original author. A ‘statistic’ appears on page 7 correctly as unverified but by page 11 becomes a hard fact upon which a whole set of conclusions are then drawn.

At its best, the report concludes that prolonged “wildfires” especially in populated areas, increases air pollution!

    Goodness ! Who’d’ve thunk that?

This is an excellent example of academics sitting down to construct propaganda dressed up as science for media attention.
