Kushner In Charge of Coronavirus–Is That “Madness?”

“Madness” is a harsh word. Can’t we soften it a bit?

After all, about 40% of Americans believe that Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kusher, with no qualifications in science, medicine, project management, government, or diplomacy, is competently bringing peace to the Middle East , managing the opioid crisis, bringing an end to the trade war with China, and handling several other pressing concerns, both international and domestic. If you’re one of those 40%, I’m going to bet you have no doubt whatsoever that Kushner is the perfect pick to manage the coronavirus.

Keep in mind that this is business as usual for Trump; It’s a page out of his playbook, if you’ll pardon the cliche, which is why it’s anything but “madness.”  On a daily basis he does something that:

• 60% of the country finds outrageous (which pleases him, because they are powerless to prevent him from lying, cheating and stealing) and

• The other 40% find completely in keeping with his vast knowledge, impeccable honesty, fantastic leadership, and solid management of our country’s  affairs (which also pleases him).

It’s a great time to be Donald Trump.
