About as Far Off-Topic As One Can Get: Quarantine Fun

The COVID-19 virus has brought out a great deal of creativity in people looking for ways to entertain themselves and their families.  One that I particularly admire is attributed to the Getty Art Museum: using household objects to mimic famous pieces of art.

Shown here is something that a friend called “The Persistence of Pimento Loaf,” but most of the best ones involve dressing human beings and/or pets like the characters in the best-known paintings.  Some require stuff not found in most people’s homes, but others, like those shown here, are based on the rawest of simplicity.  Note the gaze and positioning of the paws on the dog below.  Genius.
