Goodyear Employees Told Not To Wear “Make America Great Again” Attire

This just in:  Trump discouraged Americans from purchasing Goodyear tires after it was reported that company employees in Kansas were told not to wear “Make America Great Again” attire or other politically-affiliated gear: “This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!”

Goodyear was founded in 1898, employs 62,000 people, is now worth $2.2 billion, and could hardly be described as an organization of Radical Left Democrats.  Its CEO, Richard Kramer, is a Republican and pulls down over $11 million per year.

Apparently, Goodyear has a policy that says two things, roughly:

1) We don’t want our employees to engage in the divisiveness that is ruining American society.  Fomenting hatred works very well for the President of the United States, but he doesn’t care about the culture of the people he leads.  We do.

2) We also don’t want our employees walking around looking like mean-spirited fools.  Regardless of what statement MAGA hat wearers think they’re making, they’re really saying, “Look at me.  I’m a hateful moron.”

There are still people who believe Trump has an honest concern for the U.S. economy.  Aren’t they wondering how boycotting an 122-year-old American company squares with that?
