Trump: “COVID-19 Affects Virtually Nobody”

It affects no one except (in the U.S.):

• 204,340 dead plus their families and friends

• Another 6.7 million people suffering from the disease, plus their families and friends

• The owners of 20% of all small businesses that are closed

• Tens of millions of people out of work, and those who depend on that income

• The entire tourism industry

• Young people missing school, college, parties, romantic relationships

• Parents home-schooling their kids

And behind Trump, as he’s making this statement, hundreds of people are cheering.  Otherworldly.
