Is Politically Motivated Violence Inevitable?

It’s hard to know what will happen in the coming month or so.  Trump will never admit that he lost the election, and tens of millions of Americans, egged on by Fox News and extremist social media, believe him.  It hardly seems possible that these heavily armed people are going to sit back and let the “radical left” steal the election from their leader and bring socialism to this great nation. An uprising of some sort seems highly probable.

Worse, there is an element in both the ranks of law enforcement and the U.S. military that shares this viewpoint.  Thus it’s possible that quelling this violence may not be as straightforward as one would hope.

But depicted above is a significant problem that the would-be revolutionaries will face.  This guy couldn’t run to the end of his driveway.  It will be a battle between the Navy Seals and the Gravy Seals.  The police force and the obese force.  SWAT teams and feedlot teams.  The Air Force and the Spare Tire Force. The Marine Corps and the Holstein Corps.  The soldiers and the bulgers. The Coast Guard and the Pot-Roast Guard.
