The huge sphere (over Denver, CO?) represents the total amount of water on Earth, mostly in our oceans.  The medium-sized ball (over St. Louis, MO?) is the amount of potable water, though most of that is locked up in glacial ice.  The tiny one (over Knoxville, TN?) is what’s available to our planet’s living forms.

It’s not huge.
