Nuclear Power in Poland a Keep Step in Ending Coal Consumption

Some days, good news just rains down upon us.  Not only did we learn today that the DoJ is getting closer to indicting Trump on charges of stealing classified government documents and obstructing justice, but, on another front, the EU took a big step towards removing coal from its grid-mix.

Coal accounts for 12% of the EU’s grid-mix, and the vast majority of this comes from Poland. The replacement: (near) zero-carbon nuclear.
