Trump “Would Have” Dismantled Our Nation

“Will” is an example of the indicative mood, used to express our beliefs about the real world. It will rain later today.
Trump happily would have dismantled America, but, at least apparently, he was stopped.
That S.O.B. won’t be stopped — until “he’s six feet under”.
The problem will be — what to do with the rest of the “mess” he left, and what legally will be required to totally eradicate “the rest of the mess” from this country?
