Stop blaming “the other guy”.
It wasn’t the Republican Party changing — it was all on him.
It wasn’t him “calling out Trump” that made him irrelevant.
It was his “self-love of being a US Senator”; coupled with his total lack of having any kind of political back-bone or “cahones” — just like every other Republican US Senator) — that made him irrelevant.
