The Hijacking of Our American Symbols
One of the many tragedies of Trumpism/MAGA is that so many of the icons of our society have been hijacked by hateful morons. Yes, certainly a flag pin on the lapel is one of them, but what about the American flag itself? Even the word “patriot” now means “Trump supporter.”
I know I’m joined by the majority when I say that I’m anxious to have all this stupidity behind us.
You have got it totally incorrect.
The American Flag — will always be the American Flag.
If you are so weak as to give up your allegiance to that Flag – that is strictly on you – knock yourself out.
There are those in this country – that “claim” that the flag is “theirs” as “patriots”.
A Claim is only a claim.
and there are those of us in this country –that have the back-bone: not to run away like a coward and just “…want it all to go away… — we’re here to correct the situation by only and all legal means.
