2GreenEnergy – A Change of Focus

As a subscriber, you probably noticed that I haven’t published this newsletter in quite a while (though the frequency of blog posts on the website hasn’t diminished; we have a total of 15,700+, growing daily).

Perhaps an explanation is in order.  When it was originally conceived, 2GreenEnergy focused largely on the business aspects of renewable energy, but over the years our mission changed considerably, becoming far broader.

While my associates and I remain poised to help our clients in any of dozens of different business disciplines, most of the new content on the site over the past few years has had little to do with commerce directly, but has concentrated on the need to phase out fossil fuels in favor of low-carbon alternatives so as to avert environmental catastrophe, and that normally means confronting the political issues that stand in the way.

Yes, there in an ongoing stream of posts on the ever-changing scene in business, technology, and economics, but today’s readers are more likely to see thoughts on:

• Putting an end to Big Oil’s stranglehold on our lawmaking processes and removing money from politics on a variety of different fronts, e.g., gun safety laws and healthcare.

• Accepting science as a core driver of policymaking in climate change mitigation, pandemic control, etc.

• Ensuring that Donald Trump never gets anywhere near the White House ever again, and, to whatever degree possible, removing “Trumpism” as an animating factor in American society.

• Understanding a variety of other related social issues, e.g., restoring quality education, and maintaining the separation of church and state.

• Looking at the subject of sustainability more generally: clean water, micro-plastics, mass transit, land use and sustainable agriculture, etc.

As we move through our 15th year, I want to thank everyone who’s contributed to furthering the cause of environmental responsibility, and that means you, regardless of the actual role you’ve played.

Regrettably, too many of the moneyed elite in our country have opted to sew chaos and politicize vital matters that really have only one side – not theirs.

I share your estimation of the importance of the topics you’ve listed here, and I look forward to your further notes and observations.

You bring data, logic, and intellect to the table, when all three are in short supply elsewhere.

I continue to appreciate and respect your efforts.

Glad to hear from you. I jumped on here to suggest that you consider doing this newsletter on Substack. There are some great climate policy and sustainable advocacy newsletters on there and yours would be a fantastic addition.

      Thanks. I’ll check that out.

Wow, CS, it’s been like forever since our last engagements at this fireplace.

Sincerely hope this other iteration helps bring us and our one self-destructing world closer to that ever-elusive Holy Grail; meaning a simple common sense acceptance of the virtual bind we seem to continually work ourselves into relative to the entirety of the proven climate concerns (remember the old mantra: Sobriety is the first stage of consciousness, and consciousness is herald to healing).

Now, more than ever, it’s full steam ahead for all active engagers at the frontlines and rearlines and sidelines and underlines of the attritional battles to salvage life on this fragile planetary home of ours.

Again, thanks hugely for your part in our restless collective charge!

        Good regards,

        Llord

  3. Thanks for the update.
I have continued to work on my energy projects.
Sadly, the drain water heat exchanger business no longer exists and the only remaining manufacturer in Canada wants nothing to do with me.
At some point I will try to make a random post about my activities and efforts to reduce my fossil fuel use. I have been very successful.

Craig: Are you the least bit interested what you write hewre — the POD MOD information I sent to you some time back — will start to get us out of at least the Global Warming / Climate Change mess we’ve created.

There never was a reply back — and Lord knows it will do the job of what is needed.

It is consumer oriented (first); and investor oriented second —
but it does what no other (not-for-profit) can do:
    — it produces an available / monthly / exponentially increasing return revenue stream back to any “on-for-profit 501(c)(4) that takes it and runs with it;
    — and that includes any investors that gets the “not-for-profit” up and running to where it was self sustaining;
    — and then starts to receive (monthly) a negotiated set percentage of that return revenue stream — which is exponential also.

Because of the constant non-scientific rejection of the technology – and the US Governments “not yet commercialized / unaffiliated to a University or Commercial Company position —
    I’m shelving the project.

It’s that old “…you can lead a jackass that is dying from burning up – to water: but you can’t make it drink the water that will keep it from dying from burning up…” (my version).

As far as Trump and his Republican voter / MAGA followers are concerned:– they are a Cancer on and in this Country.
Doctors have no compulsion to be “magnanimous”, i.e., “cutting it any slack” when dealing with cancer – they “get rid of it” any way they can — and the patient is the better for the efforts – terminal or not.

This country is the patient – and we are the doctors.
What we do and the way that we attack this Cancer – will dictate whether the country “lives as we know it” – or dies from a thousand cuts.

If you are “for real” on what you’ve written here — you know how to contact me.

Thanks for your comments Craig, and I look forward to discussing interesting real experiences in clean energy technology projects, that I continue to be involved in throughout the world.

It was a pleasure to see your email . You summed up the issues of today beautifully . Since I saw your last email I have doubled my solar generation to 10k , converted my house to all electric and continue my EV addiction . Thanks for your constant fight against the entities that own our political agenda

    Part 1,
When I was about 6 or 7 years old I began to wonder what would happen to me, or in other words what lay ahead and what experiences I would have and what would eventually become of me in the future. It was about then I leaned about my eventual mortality and began to hate those thoughts and I recall I cursed at God in my head for leaving me to my eventual death.
    Thoughts on Mortality
Young people tend to assume they will never die, but a person’s sense of his or her mortality generally increases year by year. Still, many people refuse to change behaviors that would improve their chances of living into old age.

    Are We Going Extinct?
    Dec. 1, 2014

By Dahr Jamail, Truthout | Interview

    (Image via Shutterstock)
Climate scientists have determined that without a major shift away from coal and other fossil fuels, average global temperatures could rise by 6 degrees Celsius by 2050, leading to devastating climate change.

Some scientists, Guy McPherson included, fear that climate disruption is so serious, with so many self-reinforcing feedback loops already in play that humans are in the process of causing our own extinction.

August, September and October were each the hottest months ever recorded, respectively. Including this year, which is on track to become the hottest year ever recorded, 14 of the hottest years on record have all occurred in the last 16 years.
The facts are that the relationship between humanity and the global environment is as strained as it now is between human rights, democracy and peace. I intend to enable improvement as much as I’m able. ~ Les Blevins

AS THE CLIMATE BEGINS TO TURN AGAINST US COMES A WARNING FROM GOD AGAINST BLENDING IN

    In Ezekiel 7:3-4 God declared,

“The end is now upon you and I will unleash my anger upon you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable deeds and practices. I will not look upon you with pity or spare you; I will repay you for your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

If we continue to conform to the patterns of the world, we are surely behaving in a way that is detestable to our Lord. HE will surely be angry and judge us for our actions and attitudes. HE does love us all but He detests it when we are so compromising. HE alone gave us dominion over the earth, and it is time we realize and understand our responsibilities that we have to all future generations, and that if we don’t, we will be held accountable for our actions in the end.

We know that God tells us that there will be a difference in the outcome between those who serve him and those who do not.

It is very easy to give in to the patterns of the world – to blend in without even noticing the compromise we are making at the time. For example, we now have become complacent about what we follow (both on TV and elsewhere) and what we spend our time and money on. Just ask yourself if we are not now fanatically following professional sports to the point where (for example) supporters of one team might open fire on supporters of another team as they celebrate a win over the 1st team?

When Jesus calls on us to follow him, He also is warning us how difficult it will be to choose the righteous way to eternal salvation. God really knows the patterns and demands of the world we face, and He knows how very difficult it is not to blend in and do as the world does. Jesus warns us, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to our destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to eternal life, and only a few find it.” (Mathew 7:13-14)

THE RIGHTEOUS WAY IS TO JOIN TOGETHER TO PROTECT GOD’S CREATION RATHER THAN TO BLEND IN, THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE EYES OF GOD

“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil but because of the people who don’t do anything about it” ~Albert Einstein

“Humanity has pushed the world’s climate system to the brink, leaving itself only scant time to act. We are at about five minutes before midnight.” ~ Rajendra Pachauri, Chair of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2013

Oh PLEASE… Don’t invoke God since there is no evidence at all that he has any interest in the human race.

  9. Gordon Dolan says:

It has been said that 99.9% of all living creatures have gone extinct. I’m quite certain that we are that next 0.1%

  10. Craig you are a hero forever IMO!!!!
Davis Grusch testified on TV in front of congress that we have recovered ufos since the 1930s and the pilots wer not from earth. The Ets have been warning many thousands of people, for decades, that we need to take care of the environment and get rid of the nukes. THIS IS SCIENCE, I CAN SHOW YOU DATA AND STUDIES ETC.

Here is one IMPORTANT example, IMHO.
Very important, 100% credible, informative, hopeful, helpful, positive, for humanity and life. And also Ryan Bledsoe’s podcast “Bledsoe said so” is just as helpful. Especially interest ing are his father’s two hypnosis sessions.

Chris Bledsoe has had many orbs and they have healed people and given him the ability to heal people. A very sick man went to Skinwalker Ranch and Bigelow and the PHD researchers saw him being swarmed by orbs. He was toatally cured afterward. This whole video is good. It shows healing being done by an orb: watch at 22 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvH2Z3jIXYQ
