Why Norway Is a World Leader in Renewables

It’s true that Norway is a world leader in renewable energy. To be fair, however, they have a few things going for them.

One is the hydro resource itself, which is enormous, especially considering the nation’s small population.

The other, and it’s just as important, is the fact that Norway really wants to remove fossil fuels from its grid-mix. They sport a population of extremely enlightened people who actually care about the welfare of the people in the world around them.
