Invest in Oil?

Why in hell would any decent person want to play an active part in ruining the planet?

When my father passed in 2010, he left me a considerable chunk of stock in Exxon Mobil.  I sold covered calls on it for a few months, but I was happy when it was called away from me.

I’ve never gotten anywhere close to an investment in an extractive enterprise, before or since, and neither should you.
