Ideas of the Political Left

Apparently, it hasn’t dawned on this fellow that the “ideas of the political left” are functioning perfectly well in the social democracies all around the world.

By what measure?

Well, human happiness, for one.

Countries that offer their citizens taxpayer funded education, healthcare, and safety nets consistently score at the very top of the World Happiness Rankings.  It seems that people thrive in communities that take care of one another.
