Generals and Admirals Are Leaving, But Not Quietly

With all the bloodletting at the top of the U.S. military, it’s become clear why our Secretary of War is firing our top generals and admirals: they refuse to follow orders that are essentially war crimes, in particular, war crimes that are bound to result in the deaths of American soldiers.

Yes, this man sounded the alarm as he stepped down, but I find this anticlimactic.

I was hoping for something with the drama of “Mutiny on the Bounty,” where Fletcher Christian informs Captain Bligh, “You’ve given your last order on this ship!” while thrusting his cutlass through the bastard’s left tricep.

Another thing that makes this less than satisfying is the sad fact that men of integrity and intelligence who have spent decades of their lives honorably defending our nation will be replaced by spineless wimps, specially chosen to carry out these illegal orders.

  1. Scott McKie says:

And your right – you just have it totally backwards.

This will continue – because specifically – those spineless wimps are the dishonorable Officers allowing themselves to being sacked – or retiring.

Before you praise these people — read their damned Oath of Allegiance they all walked away from:
    — leaving our Nation to the wolfs while they collect their retirement pay check every month.
