Patriotism

Among the many tragic features of modern-day America is the cooption of the word “patriot.”

When we boomers were growing up, love of our country was a good thing, especially if that could be broadened to including understanding its faults and making efforts to improve on them.

Now, it’s essentially the support of a criminally insane and thoroughly corrupt president.
