The Catholic Church Has Started to Get It
The civilized world is thrilled to see the Catholic church take on the mantle of environmentalism, especially since the religious right still quotes from the Book of Genesis: Only God can destroy the Earth to justify climate denialism.
Craig – Religious people, especially “Evangelicals”, and a lot of members of other religious denominations – have proven for decades that they don’t believe in a “total Bible based God”.
The Catholic and Episcopalian Church split over the Pope – and today: – any guy or gal that can raise a tent and start “preachafyin’ will collect a “herd” – so why be surprised over this.
But – it – is- about – time that the “Mother Church” as it sometimes refers to itself: got it’s “act” together on this topic.
Do you realize what the religions could accomplish for the common good if they stopped trying to convert everyone to their specific outlook on things – and and actually worked collectively toward helping the peoples of this raock we all live on – on a single topic at a time.
Look out badd asses.
