Fire the U.S. Postmaster–TODAY

Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich’s message here is especially on target now that the USPS is in the process of replacing its entire fleet of postal trucks–get this–with gasoline powered drive trains.  That’s right, we’ve finally reached the tipping point where electric transportation is in the process of making internal combustion vehicles obsolete, and this pawn of Big Oil wants to buy 230,000 new gas-guzzlers.

Moreover, as mentioned previously, these vehicles are the perfect candidate for electrification, because their frequent stops and starts take full advantage of regenerative braking.
