From The Wall Street Journal: Exxon Mobil Corp. and New York’s attorney general are headed for a showdown this week over accusations the company deceived investors, a rare trial over how the oil industry accounts for the impact of climate change. The trial, which begins Tuesday in state court in Manhattan, is the culmination of a sprawling four year investigation.  (more…)

It wasn’t that long ago that I made my presentations to my business clients with an overhead projector and transparencies. I was thrilled when Powerpoint came along, though I never aspired to become a “power user,” and asked my assistant to make my stuff look pretty.

Video graphics that make the numbers come alive is the hot thing today in this space, and for good reason. Check out this presentation of total solar PV installations by country, with time as the independent variable. Wow.
