Mark Meadows has been removed from North Carolina’s voter roll as state officials investigate allegations that he committed voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Make you a deal.  Plead guilty to attempting to overthrow the United States government, and we’ll drop the voter fraud charges.

The ultra-right-wing Hillsdale College is known for its “surveys” that are essentially propaganda and fund-raising not-so-cleverly disguised as market research.  Here’s a question from their survey on the Electoral College, which they favor, as it’s the only way that extreme conservatives have a chance of winning the presidency:

The Electoral College was put in place to strengthen voters in southern states, because slaves didn’t count as human beings, and only white male landowners could participate in elections.
The only thing the Electoral College does now is to enable people in states with small populations to have their votes count more than more populous states.
California has 40 million people and 55 electoral votes, one vote for every 727,000 people.  Wyoming has 581,000 people and 3 electoral votes, one vote for every 194,000 people.  Their votes count 3.7 times more than mine.
If the Hillsdale people can explain how that’s fair, I’m all ears.

Here’s RMI’s cofounder Amory Lovins shaking hands with Jimmy Carter.

It may come as a surprise that there was a time before environmentalism became a partisan issue.

The Environmental Protection Agency was formed in the Nixon administration.

Nowadays, notions like climate change mitigation and toxic waste regulation are regarded as subjects of interest strictly for “woke” people.

It’s pathetic.

Outside of the wealthy owners of our nation’s great thoroughbred farms, the people of Kentucky tend to be poor, sick, and under-educated, but they don’t aspire to anything different.  They continue to elect representatives who do absolutely nothing to improve the lives of the common citizen, but that doesn’t rankle them in the least.

McConnell stands for today’s conservative values: Christian, white, Trump, MAGA, ant-government, anti-science, anti-immigrant, anti-“woke,” pro-coal, pro-gun, and that’s all voters are asking.

Now, I have to say, that’s funny.

How stupid do you have to be to think that Vladimir Putin is intimidated by Mike Pence?
