2GreenEnergy and the Huffington Post?

2GreenEnergy has a new relationship with a publicity company down in Los Angeles called Jones and O’Malley.  Terrific folks.  They’re trying to get me a gig as a blogger at the Huffington Post, and, to that end, I just submitted a 1000-word sample article.  I can’t publish it here right now, but when I’m able to, I’ll certainly do so.

I bring this up now because of the struggle I went through in crafting it.  I wrote on energy policy and the proper role of government within that setting; it’s a blend of political philosophy and environmental science.

As I see it, the challenge is to pick a non-trivial point and defend it well – one that will make people think in a new direction and possibly even take action.  It has to have gravitas, but it has to be readable; it can’t be filled with arcane verbosity that nobody can understand or care about.  E.g., I tried not to use phrases like “arcane verbosity.”

We’ll see how I did shortly.

Again, thanks to my new friends at Jones and O’Malley.

Best of luck! From all your posts I’ve read so far, I’ve no doubt that you’d be an asset to them.
