Big Oil and Big Money

In a post yesterday on Shell and the rest of the oil companies, I mentioned that I could have chosen any of hundreds of examples of corruption between Big Oil and U.S. law-makers. Here’s another beauty: each senator who voted for the Keystone XL Pipeline received a $250,000 donation from the industry, according to MapLight, a nonpartisan research organization that tracks the influence of money in politics.
