Trump and Russia

DjXfsmCWwAAfdckIt appears that, when this whole Russian deal is finally untangled, it will go at least 25 years back in time.  It was approximately then that Trump was in terrible financial trouble, and the only place he could turn was the motherland.

Here’s ForeignPolicy.com’s take on this.

    Craig,

Oh good grief, as silly conspiracy theories go, this one is sillier and more absurd than most.

Selling apartments to Russian and East Europeans isn’t illegal, nor against US interests.

In the last 12 years, I’ve made money selling Australian real estate and investments to buyers from the Peoples Republic of China, but that hardly makes me sympathetic to the CCP or the Beijing government.

It just indicative of identifying a market of willing, cashed up buyers, and selling ’em what they want.

If the Russians thought they had in some way “bought” a favorable US President (although how they would know that 25 years ago ) they certainly got a bad bargain with President Trump who has shrewdly hemmed in and contained Russian ambitions, w3hile pursuing much tougher policies against Russia than his predecessors.

This whole ‘Russian” thing has got really silly.
