Yes, Many Anti-Vaxxers Will Die. Sadly, They’ll Take Some Innocent People With Them.

The premise of the movie “The Sixth Sense” is that a young boy has the unique, though terrifying ability to see dead people.  No one around him, including the psychologist he’s seeing, believes him, though the audience can sometimes see the world through the kid’s eyes, as in the scene shown here.

The interior of the car in the photo here is a still from the film. In the actual movie, there was a rotating assortment of dead people outside the car that is being driven by the counselor.  These are people that everyone in his town knew because of the publicity surrounding their death, perhaps a local bicyclist, recently killed in an accident–again, all visible only to the kid.

Here we have a joke, gallows humor, if you will.  The people outside the car have been replaced with anti-vaxxers, who are soon to be dead.

Who could have predicted this disaster in U.S. society?  We have a large group of ignorant and selfish anti-science people who are propelling a deadly disease forward, expanding its victim base, in a time in which medical science has been so successful in giving us all longer and much healthier lives than ever before in human history.
