Why It Will Be So Hard to Leave Trump Behind Us
Why are our minds so full of cognitive biases, those nasty systematic deviations from rationality, “subjective realities” that supersede our capacity for reason?

Astronomer Carl Sagan said essentially the same thing:
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”

Unless the Charlatan (Trump n this case) is removed and shut down via legal means, and if that action is resisted by wing-nut followers:
1.) “bite” the bullet economically and “shut them down” via boycott, and;
2.) be prepared and willing to fight for what the majority of this country atually stands for and “take the fight to them” on their “turf with up to “extreme prejudise”.
The one thing a charlatan can’t stand is to be “shown for what he is” via the spotlight of repeated and unending “truth” — plus a well earned “rest of your miserable life / “Super Max”Prison time with zero Social Media communication.
As for MAGA / racist business mind types — again, economically starve them out of econimic existence, again via boycott.
