A research report shared by United Nations reveals that cities produce three-quarters of the world’s greenhouse emissions. Moreover, according to an article published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, if the global warming phenomenon continues unabated, half the homes in nearly 21 American cities will be under the oceans by the year 2100.
