Runoff from Icecap

I received a response to my post in which I quoted the American Institute of Physics, re: Donald Trump’s candidate to lead NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) Jim Bridenstine, in which I wrote:

Bridenstine, an ardent climate denier, proposes that NASA amend its institutional objectives.  This would include eliminating current objectives for the “expansion of human knowledge of the Earth and of phenomena in the atmosphere and space” and the conduct of studies on “the utilization of aeronautical and space activities for peaceful and scientific purposes.”  (more…)

3024559-slide-purified-waterHomes day to day chores result into wastewater which is not disposed of well may be a disaster for the family. Bacteria and different types of harmful insects like mosquito get homage mostly from home wastewater, which comes back and infects the household members with the disease. Everyone should be aware of ways to keep the wastewater safe as it may be one of the leading causes of waterborne disease. There have been inventions of different ways that can help in keeping the home wastewater safe both technological and home remedies. (more…)

BridenstineWe commonly bemoan the “dumbing down of America,” though we can only speculate as to the exact mechanisms by which this has happened.  Is it underfunded schools and underpaid teachers? The decay of the nuclear family?  A pop culture that ridicules nerds and promotes hedonism?  A concerted effort on the part of the controlling elite to make Americans less capable of critical thinking and thus easier to control?

The real boogeyman is hard to identify, perhaps because he lurks in the shadows, careful hiding his true identity. (more…)

200362394-001_XSIn the last couple of years, architecture has been experiencing a rebirth. The constant desire to improve and become more efficient in the way buildings are being constructed became the main driver for this change. The incremental need for sustainable solutions is now more alarming than ever before. (more…)

Jane-Goodall-chimpanzeeWe humans tend to see ourselves as being at the height of evolution and therefore don’t always consider how we’re impacting the environment when we allow urban expanses, pollution, sedimentation, and a lapse in helpful agricultural policies to reign supreme. Our actions have either positive or negative impacts on our ecosystems. (more…)

River1In response to a recent post, MarcoPolo, who never misses a trick, writes:  Did you ever pause for a minute and just consider how your hysterical diatribe sounds to the average person?

This is a great question, as I do care what the average person thinks.  It was precisely the Democrats failing to concern themselves with what the average person thought in 2016 that gave us our current wall-building, pu**y-grabbing, environment-destroying, Nazi-supporting president.

On the other hand, it reminds me of a story. (more…)

asasdasThe meme to the left here suggests an interesting and important conversation.  Yes, we live in a bizarre point in time in which American society has become so radically anti-science, yet even our complete idiots accept the legitimacy of things like modern medicine and weather-forecasting.
