Insofar as it’s a purveyor of massive amounts of misinformation on dozens of different subjects, Fox News is one of the most destructive forces active in the United States.

Since the beginning of Russia’s troop build-up on the Ukrainian border and ultimate invasion, Tucker Carlson has been forwarding propaganda to the effect that Putin’s actions have been entirely legitimate.

The most recent, that Ukraine is manufacturing biological weaponry, has been thoroughly debunked, but that has done absolutely zero to curb the blast of these lies.

The idea expressed at left is a good one, but it’s very clear that a) Thomas’s wife is a proponent of illegally overturning the 2020 presidential election, and b) he himself voted to impede the investigation into this matter.

Is there any reason that he shouldn’t be removed immediately?

Here’s a post that is inspired purely by this fabulous piece of art.

Life is so strange now, isn’t it?  The wife of a Supreme Court justice attempts to overthrow the U.S. government, and the justice himself tries to cover it up.

If this were the premise of a TV show, it wouldn’t get made because it was too far-fetched.

Seriously?  The annual income he derives from selling “survival” products to hateful morons, according to a biographer, is ~$50 million, or 191,780 per weekday.

If this judge wants to represent himself as an agent of truth and justice, why on Earth doesn’t he simply arrest the slimeball and hold him in jail?

This report from ABC News.

Is that before or after he is impeached, removed, criminally charged, convicted and incarcerated for the corrupt acts he’s already committed?

Chris Murphy, the junior senator from Connecticut, reminds us of a younger Bernie Sanders, in that he is simply a good, honest human being who represents the interests of the people of the United States.

Unfortunately, most of what we read from him, like the piece below, makes us angry.  Congress has so much power and commonly uses it to obstruct opponents’ progress.

When I speak with my 95-year-old mom every few days, the conversation ultimately gets into politics, and we’re both amazed that how little each other knows about the hottest topics.  The reason for this, of course, is that we follow news sources that are at odds with one another on the subjects they feature.

Here’s an example: For the first time in U.S. history, we have a supreme court justice who is clearly corrupt.  Clarence Thomas voted to impede a congressional investigation in which his wife is involved.  I would have thought this would have at least been worth a mention, even if it followed the stock prices and baseball scores.

At left is the reason the word “pathological” is used to describe his lying.

There is no reason for him to make this claim. All it does is to shine a spotlight on his dishonesty.

Everybody lies, but sane people do it only when required, and really hate it.

This from American political journalist and author David Corn.

We all know that, when it comes to Trump, there is no bottom.  And that’s because he has the support of tens of millions of people who simply don’t care that he has no bottom.  In fact, they admire ruthless strongmen who always get their way, and they have no sense of ethics or integrity.

We Americans are good at politicizing everything and debating things that really only have one side.  The Russian invasion of Ukraine is a good example, but it’s only one of hundreds.

What about environmental issues?  It’s common for conservatives to say that things like clean energy and transportation are job killers, but is there any evidence of that?  Suppose we decide to phase out fossil fuels in favor of renewable energy sources.  Sure, there are about 80,000 people involved in coal mining, but there are already 230,000 Americans (6.5 million worldwide) employed in the solar industry alone, and that number is growing by the day.
