You have to give Trump credit.  There have been very few people in history who have been able to sell complete BS to so many people.

Having said that, it appears his time is running out.

Vile? Vicious?  I don’t now how to break it to you, but being detested by the majority of Americans, and almost everyone outside of the country, is mild in comparison to what happens next.

Let’s admit it: With each passing day during which no indictments were unsealed, our collective blood pressure goes up another couple of millimeters of mercury.

This, of course, is not a good reason for hurrying the process, especially if that means leaving the door open to the charges being dropped or an acquittal.

One of the most interesting vectors associated with the pandemic is seen in a case like the one described at left.

We often hear about former anti-vaxxers dying in agony, and begging their followers to get vaccinated.  One would think this would have a powerful impact on these pathetic individuals ….. but maybe not.

The attack on reason that we’re seeing here in America is, unfortunately, multi-pronged.

Sure, we have our anti-science crowd, our QAnoners, and our Big Lie supporters.

But let’s not forget about the relentless attempts to re-insert religion into government and public education.

If you’re looking for something that really isn’t science, may I suggest that it’s making baseless accusations and spreading malicious bull****.

I’m happy to report that I don’t know a single soul stupid enough to believe using electricity to roast garbage is good for the environment.

And all that for only $499.99!

We would all like the justice system to move ahead as quickly as possible in pursuit of those who attempted the coup in January of 2021.  As suggested at left, however, there are many different crimes involved here, of which inciting an insurrection is only one.

I would think that forgery, especially in an attempt to overturn a legitimate election, would bring a hefty sentence.

The answer to the question posed at left: It doesn’t matter.  The organization is, at its core, homophobic, and self-respecting people would not be associated with it regardless of how lucrative the opportunity.

I shake my head when I hear people refusing to participate in the international boycott against Chick-fil-A on the basis of how good their sandwiches supposedly are.  Truly morals from hell.

Ever wonder why our civilization can’t rid itself of the pandemic or why we’re sitting around watching our planet burn down around us?  Maybe it’s because so many people really don’t give a s*** about one another.

Wind goes up in the winter to compensate for the lack of solar, which crashes due to high latitudes. The grid can only accommodate so much power from intermittent sources, so they’re able to ramp up wind.

A reader sent me this.  I completely disagree.

Re: Trump and his enablers’ activities post the 2020 election, let me ask him to pick which of the following is more likely:

a) These people all suffer from narcissism or some related psychological disorder which blinds them from seeing the truth, i.e., that they lost, or,

b) Trump is a sociopathic criminal who had tried dozens of different tactics to overturn an election that he knows goddamn well he lost.  He loves power and will commit any conceivable atrocity to maintain it.  His enablers aren’t happy about supporting him through this crime-spree, but they see it as the only way to hold on to their seats in Congress.
