A reminder for the huge percentage of Americans who are pulling their hair out re: the presidential election from Auguste Rodin, sculptor (12 Nov 1840-1917):

Patience is also a form of action.

This will all be over soon; Biden will be inaugurated; Trump will “turn up missing,” as my algebra teacher used to say.

One has to like this guy’s style, yet what’s the forecast for 2021?

In large measure it depends on deposing Trump and his administration of criminality, brutality, and stupidity. (more…)

OK, this guy is a boob.  Fine.  Like Mississippi succeeds at anything anyway.

His presence in our world, however, raises an interesting question: What would have happened if Lincoln had simply told Jefferson Davis…. (more…)

I don’t eat higher on the food chain than fish, but I don’t resent people who do, especially if their meals are based around animals that lived decent lives and were killed humanely. One important difference between life on Earth 500 years ago and what we experience today is science.  (more…)

The photo here not only shows a fabulous sense of humor, but a willingness to admit that the contest is over.

The country would be in a better place if Trump were to do that with his foundering bid for re-election, but it appears that this isn’t happening, something anyone could have predicted since the day he came to office.
