Saying Goodbye To Range Anxiety: Tesla Model S Range Is 370 miles
The EPA confirmed that the range of the new Tesla Model S is indeed 370 miles. Sounds like the end of range anxiety; I don’t know anyone who wants to drive farther than that in a single day.

Two questions;
1) Why haven’t you bought a new long range Tesla model S ? After all, you are the person who upbraids others for not choosing environmental vehicles ?
2) Under what conditions can the Tesla travel 370 miles on a single charge ?
Don’t get me wrong, I love Tesla (I actually own both shares and the vehicle) but this claim by Tesla is carefully couched in terms of an “estimate”.
I believe it is possible for a new Tesla fitted with long range batteries to be able under the right set of conditions to travel 370 miles.
However, in real world conditions, with gradients and 4 passengers and luggage, the range would drop considerably.
Still, a great vehicle and worth every penny of the $130,000+ price tag.
