Celebrating Noam Chomsky
MIT linguistics professor emeritus Noam Chomsky belongs in the same class as Bertrand Russell: a small group of extremely intelligent people whose contribution to society is a blend of a penetrating understanding of the world, married with a profoundly humanistic philosophy.
And if this doesn’t totally describe a Republican, not a Conservative, but a Republican of any stripe — I don’t know what does.
It is especially clear that the “wrap myself around the flag – Patriot / “I believe in whatever my ‘back-woods’- ‘money grubbin’ Evangelical Preacher tells me” / saps that haven’t got chance of getting out of the rabbit hole they put themselves in — but still trumpet the Kool-Aid / MAGA montra.
