As you watch this time-lapse video of the melting of the arctic sea ice, keep in mind that the thickness of the ice is decreasing as well. That, of course, is not obvious from what you’re able to see, which is why there is an entire team of scientists dedicated to determining what’s happening under the surface; I had the pleasure of having dinner with the leader of the group at JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) a few years back. As is customary here at 2GreenEnergy, I use Thanksgiving as it’s intended, that is, to thank the many people who have contributed so greatly to making my life successful in the only sense that really matters, i.e., the glow that derives from trying to make this world a better place. I’m fortunate enough to have the encouragement of countless supporters, friends and family members. Thank you, and enjoy Thanksgiving.
