Bruce Photo reducedI haven’t seen my old high school friend Bruce Wilson (pictured) since we graduated 45 years ago, but I’m happy to say that we’ve reconnected with one another, at least via phone and email.  He was a kind, non-violent sort back then, and it didn’t surprise me, shortly after I launched 2GreenEnergy in 2009, that I learned that Bruce had been hard at work in applying his skills as an engineer to making the world a better place to live, with his status as a certified LEED Contractor (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). 43878243_1400992040035760_7866830706884739072_nIt depends on how you define “thing.” There is a “thing” called a unicorn in the sense that lots of people talk about them, they’re in kids’ books, etc.

And, to be fair, clean coal actually does exist in the physical universe, not unlike ocean current energy.  Yes, it’s of no value due to the fact that it’s outrageously expensive compared to competitive approaches, but it’s very much a thing in the usual sense of the word.
